Miedo irracional a la deglución, a tragar o atragantarse. Las sensaciones comúnmente expresadas por los fagofóbicos suelen ser el sentir la garganta ‘estrechada’ haciéndoles sentir que al tragar la comida podrá no pasar y producir ahogamiento.
