LEIOMIOMA.

 
   Neoplasia benigna formada por la proliferación de células musculares lisas. Se diferencian tres formas: Leiomioma pilar; Leiomioma vascular; Leiomioma de la piel genital.
   Sinónimos: liomioma.
 
   <(A.): Leiomyom: gutartige Neoplasie, die durch die Proliferation von glatten Muskelzellen entsteht. Es gibt drei verschiedene Formen: Säulen-Leiomyom; Vaskuläres Leiomyom; Genitales Haut-Leiomyom.
 
   <(F.): Léïomyome: néoplasme bénin formé par la prolifération des cellules musculaires lisses. Il existe trois formes différentes : Léiomyome du pilier ; Léiomyome vasculaire ; Léiomyome de la peau génitale.
 
   <(In.): Leiomyoma: a benign smooth muscle tumor of the uterus occurring in the range of 0.1 to 12.5% of all pregnant women. These are also one of the most common gynecologic neoplasm in women, often detected on pelvic examination or by a range of diagnostic tools (endovaginal sonography, sonohysterography, hysterosalpingography, magnetic resonance imaging, computerized tomography, radionucleotide scanning, serum markers). The condition is difficult to distinguish from another uterine disease adenomyosis.  There are three different forms: Pillar leiomyoma; Vascular leiomyoma; Genital skin leiomyoma.
