Nervi carotico-tympanici: nervio compuesto por ramas del plexo simpático pericarotídeo interno con fibras simpáticas que penetra en la caja timpáica a través de la arteria carótida. Estas fibras se se unen al plexo timpánico que se encuentran en la superficie del promontorio. Inervan el tímpano y el canal carotídeo. Sinónimos: nervio carótidotimpánico.
