Ligamenta capituli mallei superius: es muy fuerte, cilíndrico y casi vertical. Va del techo de la caja al polo superior de la cabeza del martillo y contiene en su interior una rama de la arteria meníngea media. Sinónimos: ligamento suspensorio.
