CÁNCER

 
   Conjunto de síntomas de pronóstico y tratamiento diferentes, que se caracteriza por la proliferación acelerada, desordenada y descontrolada de las células de un tejido que invaden, desplazan y destruyen, localmente y a distancia, otros tejidos sanos del organismo. Tumor maligno en general.
 
   <(Ing): Krebs: ein Begriff für Krankheiten, bei denen sich abnorme Zellen unkontrolliert teilen. Krebszellen können in nahe gelegene Gewebe eindringen und sich über die Blutbahn und das Lymphsystem in andere Teile des Körpers ausbreiten. Es gibt mehrere Hauptarten von Krebs. Ein Karzinom ist ein Krebs, der in der Haut oder in Geweben, die innere Organe auskleiden oder bedecken, beginnt. Ein Sarkom ist ein Krebs, der in Knochen, Knorpel, Fett, Muskeln, Blutgefäßen oder anderem Binde- oder Stützgewebe beginnt. Leukämie ist Krebs, der in blutbildendem Gewebe wie dem Knochenmark beginnt und bewirkt, dass eine große Anzahl von abnormen Blutzellen produziert wird und in den Blutkreislauf gelangt. Lymphom und Multiples Myelom sind Krebsarten, die in den Zellen des Immunsystems beginnen.

Leukemia is cancer that starts in blood-forming tissue such as the bone marrow, and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced and enter the bloodstream. Lymphoma and multiple myeloma are cancers that begin in the cells of the immune system.
