<(A): Vladimir Mikhaïlovitch Bechterev: Dieser junge russische Wissenschaftler beschäftigte sich schon früh mit der Psychiatrie, die sich Ende des 19. <(F): Vladimir Mikhaïlovitch Bechterev (1867-1927), neurologue d'origine russe Surali, un petit village entre la Volga et l'Oural. Il a étudié avec Wundt à Leipzig où il a travaillé avec Flechsig et a assisté à des démonstrations de Charcot a fait avec les patients de l'hystérie à Paris. Westphal a également visité et Meynet. Il a commencé à étudier la psychologie de l'activité nerveuse et réflexes conditionnés. Sa théorie est mécaniste et la réflexologie peut être considéré comme l'origine des écoles actuelles de la psychologie comportementale. En ce qui concerne la BDL en 1885, il a décrit le noyau vestibulaire supérieur qui porte son nom. Il a été professeur de psychiatrie à l'Université de Kazan et collègue de Pavlov.
<(Ing): Vladimir Mikhaïlovitch Bechterev: this young Russian scientist was, early on, involved in psychiatry moved at the end of the nineteenth century into the study of anatomy, psychology and pathology of the nervous system and was privileged to become a student of the great Flechsig in Leipzig when he described the superior vestibular nucleus which bears his name. He also studied the relationship between the brain and behavior as an anatomist. He made studies on reflexes and on the cortical representation of visceral functions of blood pressure of pupillary, gastrointestinal, urovesical and anorectal mobility and of glaudular secretory activity.
