Art. supraorbitalis: rama colateral de la arteria oftálmica. Circula en la órbita entre el techo y el músculo elevador del párpado superior saliendo de la misma por la escotadura o agujero supraorbitario. Da un ramo palpebral, reflejándose luego hacia arriba para dividirse en varia ramas para la frente. Ramas colaterales: periósticas, musculares, diplóicas, trocleares y palpebrales.
<(F): Artère supraorbitaire: naît du foramen supra orbitaire accompagné du nerf, elle chemine vers la haut parallèlement à l’artère supra trochléaire, rameau de l’artère ophtalmique. Ces deux artères sont initialement profondes, en rapport étroit avec le muscle corrugateur du sourcil, en dessous du muscle frontal et du muscle orbiculaire des paupières. Elles remontent vers le haut dans l’épaisseur du muscle frontal et se superficialisent par la suite progressivement.
