ARTERIA DEL ALA NASAL

 
   Rama colateral de la arteria facial, de volumen variable, que nace de la altura del tronco facial de la fosa nasal, y se divide en dos ramas una inferior que sigue el borde exterior de la abertura de las fosas nasales; la otra, superior, ascendente, a lo largo del borde superior del ala de la nariz. La rama inferior a veces nace por detrás del subtabique, cuando no es proporcionada por la arcada superior coronaria. Esta arteria se anastomosa con la arteria coronaria superior, rama de la oftálmica. A menudo constititye la rama terminal de la arteria facial que luego da una pequeño ramo que ascendente por el pliegue nasolabial. Irriga con sus ramos el ala y el lóbulo de la nariz.

Du rameau inférieur nait parfois l'arrière de la sous-cloison, quand elle n'est pas fournie par l'arcade des coronaires supérieures. L'artère de l'aile du nez s'anastomose avec l'artère coronaire supérieure pt avec l'artère nasale, branche de l'ophtalmique. Elle constitue souvent la branche terminale de la faciale, qui donne alors un rameau insignifiant, montant dans le sillon naso-génien.
