Ligamenta capituli mallei superius: es muy fuerte, cilíndrico y casi vertical. Va del techo de la caja al polo superior de la cabeza del martillo y contiene en su interior una rama de la arteria meníngea media.

   Sinónimos: ligamento suspensorio.

   <(F): Ligament supérieur du marteau, ligament suspenseur: réunit la tête du marteau à la paroi supérieure de la caisse  au niveau  de la crête pétrosquameuse supérieure.
