Linea nuchae superior: en la cara exocraneal de la escama del hueso occipital, cresta ósea que se desprende de la protuberancia occipital externa y de la parte media de la cresta occipital a cada lado, dirección transversal, superficie rugosa, cóncava hacia delante. Por fuera se extiende hasta la mastoides. Más abajo y casi simétrica está la línea curva occipital inferior. Internamente se corresponde con el segmento transverso de seno lateral. <(A): Obere Nackenlinie: der Kamm, der sich seitlich vom äusseren Hinterhaupthöcker in Richtung des seitlichen Winkels des Hinterhauptbeins erstreckt; er bildet eine Verbindung zu den Muskeln Trapezius, Sternocleidomastoideus und Splenius capitis.
