Dermatosis infecciosa, hétero y autoinoculable, caracterizada por la aparición de vesiculopústulas, aisladas o agrupadas, de distinto tamaño, que al desecarse forman costras amarillentas que caen sin dejar cicatriz.

<(A.): Impetigo: es handelt sich um eine hochinfektiöse bakterielle Hautinfektion, die hauptsächlich bei Kindern sowie Neugeborenen auftritt und deren Symptome besonders stark im Bereich des Gesichts und der Extremitäten zu sehen sind.

<(F.): Impétigo: est une infection de la peau provoquée par une bactérie, le streptocoque ou le estaphylocoque doré. Ces bactéries s'introduisent dans la peau à travers des lésions préexistantes provoquées par exemple par un eczéma, une plaie, la varicelle, les poux ou la gale. L’impétigo survient le plus souvent au cours de l’été.

<(Ing.): Impetigo: is a common type of skin infection. If you pick at sores or scratch itchy bites, you may cause bacteria to enter your skin and cause impetigo. Bacteria get below the surface of the skin, usually by some sort of break in the skin. Typically, the break in the skin will be noticed (such as a skinned knee or a cut, even an insect bite), but a very small, even microscopic, break is common. Once the bacteria get into the inner layers of the skin, they grow and multiply, creating a blister. Usually, this blister becomes filled with pus and bursts, leaving a crust.
