Estudio médico en el que el paciente no sabe qué medicamento se le está administrando, ya sea el fármaco objeto del estudio o una sustancia placebo.

   <(F.): Essais en simple aveugle: étude au cours de laquelle une des parties, l’investigateur ou le participant, ne sait pas quel médicament le participant reçoit. Ce genre d’étude s’appelle aussi étude en simple aveugle.

   <(In.): Blind trial: is a trial in which the subject does not know if he is part of the experimental group or the control group. In the case of a pharmaceutical trial, a blind study would be one in which the patients participating in the study would not know if they were being given the actual drug or a placebo.
