ARTERIA AURICULAR POSTERIOR

   Arteria. auricularis posterior: rama de la carótida externa que nace por encima de la occipital, al llegar a la apófisis mastoides se divide en dos ramas terminales: una anterior o auricular y otra posterior o mastoidea. La rama terminal anterior se ramifica por la cara interna del pabellón auricular. Colaterales: ramos colaterales: ramos parotídeos, ramos musculares y arteria estilo-mastoídea.

   <(F): Artère auricularie postérieure: petite branche émergeant de l'artère carotide externe, juste au-dessus du muscle stylo-hyoïdien, du côté opposé à la pointe de l'apophyse styloïde. L'artère monte le long de l'os temporal jusqu'au cartilage de l'oreille, où elle se divise en deux branches : auriculaire et mastoïdienne. L'artère auriculaire postérieure alimente l'oreille moyenne, l'auricule, la glande parotide et les muscles du cou.
