Foramen sphenopalatinum: orificio óseo situado en la pared externa de las fosas nasales por detras del meato superior. Se encuentra delimitado por la escotadura esfeno-palatina del borde superior de hueso palatino y el ala interna del esfenoides. Da paso a los vaso y nervios esfenopalatinos.

   <(F): Trou sphéno-palatin: trou qui résulte d'une échancrure demi-circulaire située entre les deux éminences que présente le bord sphénoïdal de l'os palatin, et qui est convertie en trou par une semblable échancrure du sphénoïde.

   <(Ing): Sphenopalatine foramen: the space between the sphenoid and orbital processes of the palatine bone; it opens into the nasal cavity and gives passage to branches from the pterygopalatine ganglion and the sphenopalatine branch of the maxillary artery.
