ARTERIA ETMOIDAL POSTERIOR

        Art. ethmoidalis posterior: la arteria oftálmica da un tronco común para las dos etmoidales. Esta arteria nace del tronco común frente al agujero etmoidal posterior por el que se introduce. Se distribuye por la dura madre que cubre la lamina cribosa, celdas etmoidales posteriores y la zona próxima de la mucosa nasal.
   Ramas colaterales: etmoidal, meníngea y nasal.
 
   <(F): Artère ethmoïdal postérieure: maît en regard du conduit ethmoïdal postérieur, ou bien en avant de ce conduit, d¨un tronc commun avec l´artère ethmoïdale antérieure. Elle s´engage dans le conduit ethmoïdal postérieur et s´épuise dans la duremère que recouvre la lame criblée ou bien se termine dans la partie boisine des cavités nasales.
 
   <(Ing): Posterior ethmoidal artery: it passes between the upper border of the medial rectus muscle and superior oblique muscle to pass through the posterior ethmoidal canal, to supply posterior ethmoidal cells, and, entering the cranium. When it enters the cranium it gives off a meningeal branch to the dura mater, and nasal branches which descend into the nasal cavity through apertures in the cribriform plate, anastomosing with branches of the sphenopalatine.
