   Membrana statoconium: membrana constituida por una sustancia gelatinosa que cubre la superficie de las máculas del utrículo y del sáculo conteniendo los cilios de las células sensoriales y las estatoconias.

   Sinónimos: Membrana de las estatoconias.

   <(In.): otolithic membrane; statoconic membrane; statoconial membrana: a gelatinous membrane supported by the stereocilia of the hair cells of the maculae of the saccule and utriculus of the inner ear; adhering to the surface are numerous crystalline particles called otoliths (statoconia).
